Meet Grady!
Grady (CH Ravin's Top Grade CD) is a liver spotted Dalmatian who was donated to me after he retired from showing in the conformation ring. He needed a job, and he excels at working as my service dog!
Thank you to Patrick Jones for giving me Grady. He's a wonderful dog - not only is he my service dog, he's also my best friend.
I have an autism spectrum disorder, and Grady is trained to perform tasks assist me. Some of the things he is trained to do are guidework, retrieving items, and blocking at curbs.
Before I had Grady, I was essentially housebound - I couldn't go out places unless I had a "service human" along with me. Grady has given me independence!
Grady gets plenty of off-duty time to relax, play, and just be a dog. During his off-time, he enjoys practicing for competition obedience, playing around with agility, and doing other fun training.
Other activities that he likes include romping with my pet dogs, playing at the park, games of "fling the stuffie", and swimming (so long as the water isn't too cold!).
